Customer Reviews

A good price for a useful product to print shipping labelsThis was a good value. I checked and similar labels good though for both laser and inkjet printers were $4.44 for 20 labels at the local Walmart and thus not a good choice over just printing a label and using packing tape to hold it down on the package. That worked out to 22 cents per label. Buying this way even though labeled for inkjet printers I paid $6.49 for 50 labels which works out to 13 cents per label. They are overkill for my needs, but style counts on some packages. I have not tried these on laser printers but I suspect they will work just as well but inkjet technology for printing color is widely available in homes and less expensive to start printing with than color laser printers. Color, like the labels, adds class although the basic shipping information should be as clear as possible (black text on white labels).. 5The most efficient labels I've found yet, even if they are more expensive than some othersThere's a generic brand here on Amazon called 200 Half Sheet Shipping Labels Laser/Inkjet USPS UPS Fedex that costs the same amount as of this posting ($7.99) for four times as many sheets (200 instead of 50), but I find the generic not nearly as satisfying and penny-pinching as they seem in the long run. First off, they don't stick nearly as well as these Avery shipping labels, and I have to compensate with clear packing tape, which adds up over time.Additionally, the Avery labels are much thicker than the generics and can block out any previous writing on a package without problems. Sometime I've found myself double layering with the generics to achieve the same effect, which is not cost efficient. In my estimation, you're paying around $0.08/label (two per page) for these labels instead of $0.02/label for the generic, but you'll only save 2-3 cents per label with the generic in the long run. The piece of mind of knowing these labels are sturdier and more likely to survive a trip through the US postal system is worth the extra few pennies for me. 5Avery Shipping LabelsThese labels make my shipping wonderful. I like to be able to print from home. The Avery labels work great in my printer. It just makes life that much easier and no waiting in huge lineups at the post office. I typically only ship in poly bags. They have always stuck very well for me. Only once in a great while depending on the contents do I ever have to put a strip of clear packing tape in the middle. It depends what platform you are printing from to not waste any. Most like UPS, PayPal etc just click to undo print receipt. They hold the ink very well. I haven't had any smudges yet. Overall, I keep coming back to purchase these particular labels as I like them best so far. 5AVERY MAKES THE CADILLAC OF LABELS THAT STICK WITH TRUEBLOCK, but I recommend the 8127 over these.I like the TrueBlock Technology. Avery labels are easy to get a great print, cover an old label, and adhere well. They make the business of small volume shipping easy. That said, I prefer the ones with receipts over these, though I'd always keep both and use them appropriately. For me, however, I often ended up printing on the second label as my receipt, depending on my needs at the time or the application I was using. So, I more often recommend AVERY 8127 over the 8126 shown here. 3A Must-Have!I love this set of unusually large shipping labels from Avery. Each page is cut for only two labels of approximately 8.5 by 5.5 inches in size (22 x 14 cm). Avery promises that they will cover up prior shipping labels and in my experience, they do. This allows the user to re-use shipping boxes in an economical and environmentally sound manner. Despite the labels' opaque quality, they are supple and enable me to trim them and cover up the back side of a photograph, or add strength to it, thus enabling me to convert the item into a postcard and mail them for Postcrossing purposes. Of course, you can "create" smaller labels simply by taking the scissors to them. A must-have for people who ship from home. 5sticks great for me...After reading the other reviews, I was worried these labels might not stick as well as I anticipated, but they work fine for me. I didn't even have to use tape on them. Adhered securely to my usps priority boxes...no problem. I can't help but wonder if dirty or over-used cardboard might have something to do with some of the lack of stick issues? Just throwing that out there. I feel bad when things work for me and not others. 5Work well for meI've purchased a few times, always stick well to 6x10 bubble poly mailers , they never get stuck in my inkjet printer (Epson all in one). The Etsy USPS label doesn't fill up the entire space of this label. I'm sure you can change in printer settings but my attempts haven't been successful. Still great labels, I'll just deal with a little extra white space.Side note-I had a pkg (poly mailer) returned to me after being within the postal service system for a couple of weeks (it went from NC to CA back to NC). the label had started to peel up at the corners however the entire pkg looked so beat up. It was nowhere near coming off or not being able to be read/scanned. 5Helps save timeUsed these for USPS "Click and Ship" to ship a lot of boxes over seas. After weighing the boxes (see my review of Weighmax 2822-50 lbs capacity, Postal Shipping Scale). I was able to pay for postage online and print up the postage and addressed shipping label on these, with the customs declarations right on the single label, no additional forms or labels needed. As long as you click that you don't want to print the receipt in the USPS website, you can print out 2 shipping labels per sheet. The glue on the label is pretty strong, but I like to put some clear shipping tape over the edges and over the address itself in case the box gets wet for whatever reason. Best thing is that you can arrange to have the USPS pick up the boxes or just leave them at the counter at the post office, no standing in line. These could also be used to print things other than shipping labels. 5How to print without wasting using Apple OS XKeywords: print, half, page, waste, Amazon, return, returns, UPS, OS X, Mac, Apple, Safari, PreviewThese shipping labels work very well for me, and I would buy them again. If you create a custom paper size that matches the labels you can print anything without wasting. You set it up once then don't have to do it again. Here's how:These instructions are for OS X (Mac / Apple) for how to print any document to the labels without wasting them. I use it most often from Safari for Amazon returns, where they frequently have the RMA bar code on the top half of the page and the return label on the bottom half. There are other helpful reviews for other return services, but this method works in general for me for anything I want to print. On whatever page you want to print, for example the Amazon Returns page, click Print. Then go to the Paper Size drop box, click, and choose Manage Custom Sizes. Now click the "+" sign to add a new custom size. Set the Paper Size Width to 8.5" and the Paper Size Height to 5.5". Leave everything else alone (or adjust however you want), and save it. I cleverly call mine "Mailing Label".From now on, every time you want to print a label, just choose your new Mailing Label paper size. Make sure the Scale is at 100% and the Orientation is portrait.I hope you benefit from my wasted time! 5Perfect for Ebay SellingI needed shipping labels to sell on Ebay. These labels are perfect. They stick really strong, so once you put them on a box or shipping bag,it's not going to coming off without tearing it up.I've sold over a 100 items so far, and never a problem reaching their destination with these labels. If you don't know, you have to make sure your Ebay settings are setup to not print the label + the Ebay receipt.Once you set that up on Ebay, these labels are great!Ebay recently updated their shipping label format to a pdf style printing preview, so you can adjust the sizes. Also, I've used Mercari shipping labels printed on these.Get them. 5
