    THIS LOOKS NICE BUT IT DOES NOT HOLD POTS--IT BENDS WITH THE WEIGHT AND MOLDS ON THE UNDERSIDETHIS LOOKS NICE BUT IT DOES NOT HOLD POTS--IT BENDS WITH THE WEIGHT.IT ALSO GETS MOLDY ON THE UNDERSIDE AS THE MATERIAL IS 'STICKY' RUBBERY STUFF--SILICONE MAYBE?It is a very pale grey and looks nice and neutral. I was very disappointed that you cannot place anything vertically into the slots either. So it is good for a few plates and cups. I'm a single person household and don't use the dishwasher and use a hand rack. Thought this would look nicer but I cannot fit nearly the amount on it because everything HAS TO LAY FLAT. And my heavy stew pot bent it so much I took it off and dried it on a towel on the counter.THAT'S WHAT I WAS TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM!THE MOLD IS VERY HARD TO GET OFF AS THE SURFACE IS NOT A NONPOROUS SMOOTH TEXTURE. SEE PICS OF A CLOSE UP OF THE MOLD SPOTS!!! focus isn't great on my camera but you can see the spots. I'm a retired doc so I'm a CLEAN anal nut so I'm not a slob. This gets a wipe down after every use. Nothing gets this mold off. I tried straight bleach--the surface is a spongy silicone-y surface coat and it just either stains it permanently or just doesn't come off. The top looks OK, but UNDER is all staines with black spots. Buy a dark color maybe? 2Functional and extremely convenient.This dish rack is fantastic! It's strong, it fits a ton of stuff (including stand-up items between the racks), and it rolls up small to get out of the way when you're done using it. I initially thought I needed a regular rack with a cutlery container, but this works extremely well for everything. Not having to find storage for a big bulky dryer rack is an added bonus!! 5Brilliant!This thing is amazing! Bought it as a gift and then had to get myself one. It s so convenient and easy to store and it s super simple to clean. It looks good while out, too. Great for the obvious function of drying dishes, but I also love it for letting produce dry after washing. I set larger items right on it (like melons, potatoes) or set the colander on it after rinsing berries, grapes, etc. so there are no puddles of water left on the counter. 5Wonderful toolNever thought this could be so wonderful, but it is. I usually prefer stainless steel to plastic-coated items, but this coating is high quality and won't rust or scratch the sink. The rack is incredibly sturdy, but lightweight--takes bigger, heavy pots with ease. Also works great as an over-the-sink colander to rinse veggies. Cleans easily by hand and is unfazed when washed in the dishwasher. Best of all, it rolls up easily to any width, so you can cover all of a sink, or 1/2 or 1/4. I leave it fully rolled up at the base of my wooden dish-draining rack for easy access and draining heavy dishes. Very versatile and a surprising new kitchen favorite. 5Changed our kitchen for the better. Great product!I purchased this item for my wife when we were living in our first apartment. We had a small kitchen with limited counter space. My wife absolutely loves this item and so do I. I was able to use this for drying dishes after cleaning. My wife uses it for defrosting meats over the sink. She also uses it as extra counter space as needed, and as a place to put our strainer when she makes pasta. It s easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Sturdy enough for heavy pots and pans, yet can roll up easily like blueprints. This item is highly versatile with a high heat tolerance. Years after purchase, 2 moves later, and 2 larger kitchens later, we still use it regularly as a kitchen mainstay, without a sign of wear on it. Great product! 5One of my best purchases.It seems silly to be gaga over a drainer; I mean, it's a drainer. But I LOVE this thing! It fits perfect, it's rubber-coated so it doesn't scratch either my sink or the dishes and nothing slides around. And when I'm done with it, it rolls up really small and stashes in a drawer. No drips on the counter. Just perfect.Now I should qualify this by saying I have a dishwasher, so all I use it for is wooden utensils and Calphalon -- stuff you wouldn't put in a dishwasher. If you want something for draining all your dishes, this isn't it: you need an actual upright rack. But for handwashing a few special items this couldn't be more perfect. 5Cn't believe I didn't know about this before!Love, love. love this! I found this by accident and it seemed as if it would be exactly what I needed and it was! I was able to throw away the old stained plastic one that sat beside the sink half the time and replace it with this....what's great is I can leave it on top of the garbage disposal side even when there are no dishes and it's not unsightly. If I need to use the disposal I just roll it up halfway and work around it. Then unroll it. I even used it to sit a hot pan of pasta when I forgot the strainer since it's good up to 300 degrees! This was worth every dime! I highly recommend it and can't think of anything negative about it in the week or two that I've used it! 5Great product, good design, well-madeGreat product, we use it every day. Very sturdy, items do not slip or fall between the grates, holds even our heaviest cast iron cookware, etc. One issue, which someone else mentioned here or elsewhere, it will leave marks on your countertop if you use it all the time as we do. Our countertop is granite, but I assume there would be an issue with other materials as well. Severity probably depends on how hard your water is. The issue is easily solved-- take the rack up every few days and scrub the countertop. This purchase was part of a large kitchen remodel which included our wanting to get away from a countertop dish rack. This, along with a grate in the sink and use of the range top as an auxiliary drying rack, has worked perfectly. 5Best of categoryThe BEST dish drainer/dryer yet! Wish I'd had one of these my entire life. It's so easy to use, holds everything (plates tuck between the tubes so they truly dry all over), and when not in use, just rolls up into a compact little roll. We don't even bother to put it under the sink. It's unobtrusive enough that we just leave it rolled up at the far left side of our sink and unroll as needed. It probably helps that we have a very large sink (33" wide) so we can work in the sink with this sitting on the far left and it's not in our way. When unrolled it covers roughly half of the sink, still leaving the other half for rinsing, washing, and so on.Not sure how well it would work if our sink were smaller (say only 24" or 21" wide which was the case with our sink in our last home) but in that case we'd just have to tuck this into a cabinet or drawer when not in use, I guess. We'll find out as our new "in town" condo is a studio with a small sink, and we'll be buying one of these for that kitchen, too.We'll never use any other type of dish drainer ever again. Brilliant idea, kudos to whoever thought this up/designed it, and many thanks to the company for producing it. 5Pricy, but nicely made and gives you more counter space to boot!I ordered this after seeing it in Real Simple magazine. I have a small apartment kitchen with a one-compartment sink. Stupidly I did not check the measurements of my sink and was dismayed when it arriveed to find out that it is too short to be used width-wise and when I use it lengthwise, the faucet gets in the way and only 3/4 of it is actually over the sink. So I have to finish washing all of my dishes before I can use this thing and it is too short to fit over my sink sideways/But I still like it a lot even with those issues. It gives me more counter space because it turns your sink into part of the counter. I can put stuff on it and clean the rest of the countertops while the dishes dry on it - then take the dishes off and be done. Of course, you can also just leave dishes in the sink to dry too.It's very well-made, rolls up and stores easily. If I ever move or renovate so that I have a double sink, this would be amazing. So I am glad I have it, but measure your sink before you order. 4
