Great fit for a standard Coleman stove. Good non-stick; easy clean-up.Pleasantly surprised. Fits a standard Coleman two-burner stove just fine. It really is non-stick, so clean-up's a snap. Over 6 camping trips I see no damage to the non-stick surface due to high heat - however, most of my griddle cooking (bacon, eggs, pancakes etc) is done at low heat. Distributes heat fairly well but food placed directly over a burner below still cooks considerably faster than food not placed directly over a burner.4Excellent for campingFits on a standard camp stove, durable, even distribution of heat, easy to clean. Giving 4 stars because the sides should come up a bit higher. Was unable to cook 1 standard pack of bacon without grease spilling over the side. So I'd stay away from cooking grease-heavy items on it, but that is probably the case for all camp griddles. It made perfect pancakes, eggs, and grilled cheese, and is a staple in our family's camping gear.4Recommended For Camping, Tail-Gating, or Home CookingAs inexpensive as this griddle is compared to most other similar ones out there (like Coleman), this is really a good deal. It fits really nicely over the Coleman Triton 2-Burner stove (with igniter or without) and, though it will not store inside the stove, it does store nicely in the medium stove carrying case with the stove. As far as cooking, it really works well as long as you understand that it isn't cast iron. Since this is cast aluminum, it will heat up very quickly and it will not retain it well. For this reason, I can think of no reason why I would recommend ever using it with the heat of your grill or stove (camping) at it's highest. The only possible exception would be if you are cooking a steak and you like yours rare to medium-rare and just wanted to sear them for a minute or two on each side. If you attempt to cook bacon or eggs on the same heat you will obliterate them before you realize it.The non-stick surface has worked very well for me and I can typically clean this up with a paper towel which is really nice when your camping. Just realize that you should use non-stick utensils or you will scratch the surface. I have scratched mine but not badly and it still works like knew. The coating hasn't showed any flaking or pealing whatsoever.5A great additionA great addition to my camping gear. Made hash browns to pancakes and washed well. I forgot my cast iron skillet and now wonder why I bothered with the heavy thing.Only downside is it takes up both burners and has a cold spot in the middle where there isn't any flame. Had to make pancakes only over spots where burner is.4Not what I expectedI really wanted to like these. I purchased two of them for a family camping trip. Seemed to be just what I needed. Cooked bacon on ithem one time, and like others discussed, it was difficult to pour off the bacon grease. Also cooked sausages on it. But after just those uses, they both warped. Did I get them too hot? The food didn't burn. And now part of the coating, especially in the rounded corners, is chipping off of one. They seem to be just a little flimsy. They're sort of unusable now, because food would slide all downhill in one direction due to the warping and any grease would roll down into the fire. My parents have a thick, sturdy Coleman camp griddle that they have had for over 50 years. It's sill in great shape. It has a well all around the edge to catch the grease. They live too far for me to have borrowed it. This is the first time I was camping with more than two people so thought these would be just the thing, but it seems that I thought wrong. Serves me right for going cheaper.2Great addition to the camp kitchenGreat addition to the camp kitchen. Fits perfectly on a Coleman two-burner camp stove and didn't warp or bend even with uneven heating (hot burner under one end for dogs, low burner on the other end with a pot of beans on top). Note that it is not very deep. Make sure your stove is very even before dumping scrambled eggs onto it or they'll pour off the low end. Not that we learned this the hard way.5Makes cooking over open fire easy I bring this camping every time. I cook steaks, burgers, toast buns and bagels, perfect for eggs in the morning and bacon. If using over an open fire Definitely buy a grate like the one in my picture to raise it above the fire and to put the grittle on. Without a grate this flat top grittle won t work very well.5Great griddle for a 2-burner camping stoveSeveral negative reviews report warping after putting the griddle onto a fire, which is not what it's designed for. It even says on the label to not heat it too quickly or expose it to extreme heat.We have used this griddle so many times on our Coleman 2-burner stove and it has been fantastic. Following their advice, it's still as flat as the day we bought it. We've done burgers and hotdogs, eggs, sausage, pancakes, bacon, pork chops, and so many other things on it.4Nice on the grill.I ve been dying for a Blackstone griddle. I figured this would be an ok test drive before pulling the trigger on a proper gas griddle. This works pretty well on a gas grill. Only real complaint is that it pools grease. If you re doing a lot of burgers, they are swimming by the time they are done- even with 90/10 lean meat. Chicken, vegetables, buns... all good. Tried it indoors on the glass top, too. Worked ok. Glass tops are horrible on their own. The heat was enough to twist the pan, even on medium low heat. I believe the problem was uneven heat applied from the stove. The part on the burner was hot; the part hanging off was much cooler. It wouldn t safely cover 2 burners on my stove so only half of it was heated directly. It went back to normal once it cooled. But, it made some decent pancakes. I won t bother using it inside again, though. More the fault of the stove and not the pan at all.5Great Little GriddleBought this to use on my 2 burner propane stove for camping. While I haven't used it on my camping stove yet, I did take the idea of others and used it on my electric stove with eyes at home. It was great! Cooked my breakfast this morning. Bacon over one eye and the eggs over the other. It seemed to heat evenly and I believe I will be able to par boil (so they cook faster) some potatoes while camping and cook those as well when doing breakfast. Cooking for one I will have the room. This does have a ridge, but no reservoir for grease. However, I eat Turkey Bacon and grese is a minimum. Used a touch of Pam to lightly coat the area for the eggs. Clean up was a breeze. I love it!Make sure you use either rubber or plastic utensils to avoid scratching and this griddle should give you years of service.5Great Value, Fits a Colman stove perfect. I was very happy with this griddle and successfully made eggs, sausage, and homemade hash brown potatoes on the first use. I think the important thing to point out, is that you can't treat this like a thick cast Iron griddle. It is much lighter and thinner than a cast iron skillet so you will need to be aware of your heat...just like any non-stick pan for that matter. It fit a standard Colman stove perfect and was a great value for the price. 5
