Customer Reviews

Glue brushes Do the trick for spreading glue on wood working projects. Cheap so you can throw them away after one use. 4Terrible quality These are terrible quality brushes. They shed hairs immediately once I started using them. The entire bristle part comes out of the metal handle at the slightest pull (while cleaning). 1Not 1/2 inch The brushes are okay, but it's a b-i-g stretch to be calling them "1/2 inch" brushes. While they are 1/2 inch wide at the end of the brush, they're what most manufacturers call "3/8 inch." 2Cheap but disposable, they do what they're meant to. I bought these brushes to redo my car door's weatherstripping. The weatherstripping adhesive I was using was super thick and would ruin any brush I used with it, so a pack of disposable brushes like this seemed perfect. I only ended up using three of the brushes for the job and they worked about as well as you'd expect, they were lightweight and a few bristles will get pulled out if your working with anything sticky. I wouldn't recommend these brushes if you are a professional looking for quality glue application, but they are great for random garage projects. 4... bought these for some epoxy work as it was recommended as being purchased by other people that have worked ... I bought these for some epoxy work as it was recommended as being purchased by other people that have worked with the same epoxy. Unfortunately these brushes drop so many hairs, it will virtual ruin anything you use them on. 1Bristles came loose Used these for coating mold release in a silicone mold, to make sure all surfaces were covered, as well as for applying brush on silicone. I was frustrated by the amount of bristles that came off during application. I ended up with several stuck in the mold and then in the casting. Thankfully, they were not the end products. In a time sensitive application, these caused a lot of stress. Will be looking for another product that has more of a securing grip to keep the hair in the brush. 2Bristles fall out - poor quality. As others have mentioned, the bristles fall out into your work. These are virtually useless for any gluing or similar work. I use them for brushing some parts before a water rinse so I get the chance to wash the bristles off my work but that is still a pain; they stick close to the work and even with running water I have to peel them off the work. I get the job done but it would be much easier of these bristles stayed where they belong 2These things shed worse than my dog Shedding is not a desirable factor in these when you are using them to spread wood glue. 2Take the bad with the good Pretty junky brushes; not many bristles, not very stiff bristles, and some of them will fall out. BUT, long handles which definitely make it easier for me, and you get an awful lot of brushes for the money. So that's why 3 stars. I'd be happier with half as many brushes that were twice as good. But these will do for now. 3Great brushes for a plethora of uses I have used these brushes for paint/stain, paint remover, greasing and grease remover, and a bunch of other things. I read a review about the bristles coming out, but I just use a pair of pliers to tighten the cover and they hold just fine! Definitely worth the price! 5
