    Easy Easy to install especially for a person who has never change door knobs. Product had great price better than calling locksmith. 5SmartKey is fantastic I bought the kwikset because of the smartkey feature. Kwikset even has padlocks with smart key. I now have one key that operates locks on three doors to my house, my garage, my storage shed, and two separate enclosures. The great part is that I have all the keys from originally purchasing the locks so I can randomly change all my locks to a new key anytime I want...like if I loose a key. It takes me less than 15 minutes to change the locks on all seven locks....great feature. 5Seriously. Buy these. As a new homeowner, the first thing we wanted to do was change the locks. Lock smith quoted over $400 for 5 doors (garage doors, storm door etc).Thanks to my Amazon obsession, we paid much less.We bought and replaced out own knobs and deadbolts.This was my first time attempting anything like this and I am proud to say that all the locks work with one key.I will admit that the directions are a little confusing. I had to watch a couple YouTube videos.Save yourself money and frustration. These look and feel substantial. They are not the cheap hollow door knobs you usually see sold in home stores. And, if you are somewhat paranoid as I can be, you can change your key as often as you would like! 5Works like a lock, I'm happy! Hard to see that the knob isn't round, it's like a rounded triangle. It's fine, who looks at that anyway, right? Just want this to keep bad people out, and it does that well. 4Matches the others Needed a new knob for the utility door and wanted it to match the others that were installed earlier. Works great, and came quickly. 5Easy to Install, Classy Finish. Good Choice This doorknob came quickly and was easy to install. I am not handy at all and it took me less than 20 minutes to replace an old door knob. The smart key part is particularly helpful because I didn't have to get new keys!!!The only downside is that the key hole is upside down and I don't have an equally easy way to remove the cylinder. Other than that its a great buy and worth the purchase if you need a new door knob and don't want to call a locksmith to re-key your entire house. 4Works Well I have 6 of these around and I just can't seem to keep the doorknobs screwed tight enought, they always seem too loosen up.The lock part does seem too work well though, to keep honest people out. 3Easy to install but... We bought 2 entry knobs and a deadbolt for our doors. I was able to install all 3 sets very quickly. The entry knobs were slightly different. One had the key going into the cylinder flat side down, the other flat side up. A minor detail but annoying, so we contacted the company and they quickly sent a tool that allowed us to rotate the cylinder (a 10-15 minute job) so they matched.Update: I changed from 5 stars to 3. I've had the product for nearly a year. I've re-keyed the locks at least twice and last time we had trouble with one of the entry locks. The key goes in, but the lock doesn't turn unless you jiggle the key and force it. It felt like the cylinder was sticking. I was concerned we may be locked out. I called Kwikset (1-800-327-5625) and they are sending a new cylinder. If I have trouble again, I'll go back to regular locks. 3Great doorknob! Nice looking handset. Works great with other Kwikset locks as you can set them all to work with the same key. 5SmartKey is AWESOME! High quality finish and feel. Easy install. Had to flip the lock cylinder to match door orientation but it wasn't too difficult. I love SmartKey and am in the process of replacing all 12 locks with it. 5
