Great value with a couple trivial design flaws. Heater is great! It does have a bit of a noise when oscillating after picking it up and moving it around several times, nothing too loud, and it's still turning fully. It's also kind of annoying that I have to set the temperature every time I turn it on, also in the middle of the night with all the lights off, you can't read the display, you just see bright blue piercing lights which don't tell you anything unless you can see their labels. Other than that it's a nice little heater that gets the job done, has timer functions and a built in thermostat, and it looks pretty nifty as well. Compared to everything else on amazon I think this little guy was a steal. I've included photos of the degree of turning as well as the display in a lighted environment and a dim environment. 5Liked it so much I bought another one! Jan 4, 2019 - Just a quick update to say my heaters are still going strong 4 years later. That includes heavy usage and even the occasional 1 to 2 foot crash to the carpeted floor when I've accidentally knocked them off the raised surfaces I keep them on.I bought one of these 2 years ago from a box store, then another one more recently from Amazon. I have used them both with great heating results and no issues what-so-ever*. I live in an old, drafty house, and one of the heaters has been the sole source of heat in my 10'x14' bedroom for the past 2 years. The other heater is in my computer room that opens into my living room. The house heating unit is in the living room (I don't have central heat), and that room heats up fine, but on colder days/nights the adjacent computer room dips down in the lower 60's. So I use one of these heaters as a supplement and it manages to raise the temp to at least 70 degrees, sometimes more depending on how hard the wind's blowing. None of the other many heaters I tried have come close to working as well as this particular Lasko model has.*I don't really consider this an issue - not in the mechanical sense at least - but as with any heater, it does cycle off and on during use, creating a sort of clicking sound. It's loud enough that it might be disruptive while trying to drift off to sleep in a quiet room. My sleep mate machine masks the sound well enough that it doesn't bother me. 5Meh. I've been using this little heater all winter and I want to love it but I can't. I feel that it should "throw" the heat a little further with the fan (I probably just need to buy an IR quartz heater) but it doesn't. If you're more then a few feet from it it's basically just a radiant heater. I also don't understand the thinking behind the eco mode. I won't get in to the details of how it works, but I don't think it was thought out very well. Besides those two complaints it is a good heater. If I had a do-over I would probably get the Lasko 755320 instead of this one. 4perfect solution to uneven heating in the house I bought three of these a few years or so ago and loved them so much that I bought two more. The house I live in currently heats rooms unevenly. The thermostat upstairs is set at 72, which makes my daughter's room hot as an oven (even with the window perpetually open) and my son's room, which is right next door, cold. This heater is the perfect solution because I can set the heat on a timer or on a temperature so that his room doesn't get too hot.Another perk is that the vent on the fan is too small to fit tiny toddler fingers inside, which is why we bought them in the first place. 5Quiet, inconspicuous, slim powerful This is a super little space heater! It is my 2nd one. One for upstairs one for downstairs! It has an oscillating feature which is great. My elderly mom lives with us and she gets cold easily, and I'm always hot so I put this on(in addition to the house heat being set at 72 degrees) it is perfect for her. It has a timer feature with the push of a button from 1 hour to four hours. The rooms I heat are 20 feet by 30 feet and it makes them nice n toasty. I like the heat off in my bedroom, better for sleeping, but sometimes it's gets to 56 degrees and needs just a little toasting I put this heater on for 45 mins and it's perfect sleeping temperature! Light weight, doesn't blow up my electric bill either! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a little more warmth in their world for a small price. 5Good Heater but a Bit Loud I bought an almost identical model at Costco, Model CC23152. From the outside the CC23152 and 23150 look almost identical but the Costco model has a much fancier digital remote control (see picture) which was to my liking very much. The front panels are slightly different however (also see picture). I loved the remote which used 2 AAA batteries. Don't care for the louver function and doubt its quality in the long run but some people might like it. The louver had cost extra money for sure. This heater looks good with the two-tone color. It was flat and unique looking. The round air filter is in the front can be vacuumed to keep it clean. This is a very good feature that many other heaters lack. The thermostat and thermometer were both accurate according to my tested, calibrated, and accurate room thermometer. The heater display was clear and easy to read. When it was plugged in a red light stayed on no matter what, and this red light could be quite bright at night to some folks. The very nice display was front-facing instead of on top of the tower unit like many other heaters. Nonetheless these are things were not to my liking:1) The "LOW" heat setting was NOT not in the manual to inform buyers the power consumption. I believe it might be intentional that Lasko did not reveal this information. I had to e-mail Lasko to find out the "LOW" power consumption was 900W, NOT 750W. That was a huge disappointment to me because many many heaters have the "Low" setting at half of the 1,500W max output. So please bear in mind that even if you use the "LOW" setting on this model, it is 900W therefore your electric bill might spike as one reviewer has so mentioned.2) This model is a kind of loud. In a small 12 x 12 room, it really drowns out our 23" TV with a sound base. It doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping, just when I was watching TV.3) There is NO tip-over protection. This is a switch at the bottom of the base that if the tower heater is knocked over, it would auto shut off as a safety measure. For any tower heater that lacks such a basic feature is a very serious concern for a family that has little kids and pets. A MAJOR disappointment in this regard.I also have purchased a Lasko CT22415 tower heater from Costco about $20 cheaper. The cheaper model is obviously quite a lot quieter despite the remote control is not fancy and not digital. After much debate, I have returned the CC23152 after an one-week of trial mostly because of its noise level (and price too). We plan to keep the CT22415. Thanks for sharing my experience and I hope I have helped. 3Good little heater! This little heater is beside my desk and keeps me toasty warm! I like that it is taller than some with the warm air hitting on my legs and feet. I have two other similar Lasko heaters I bought in past years in other parts of the house. They have held up very well with no problems. The heater takes up little space. I do make sure it is not close to any burnables or fabrics like curtains or upholstered furniture. 5Got it on middle of December 2017, last time ... Got it on middle of December 2017, last time I tried to use it didn't work, I missed the return date for Amazon, now I have to return it to the manufacturer, so less than 90 days and brokenUpdateI checked out the manufacturer web, and tried to sent and email, but they wants to fill out my email, I tried 3 different emails , all are invalid. Looks like they know what they doing 1Keep an eye on your power bill Very efficient but very expensive to run. My electric bill went from $40 to $121 in one month. I called the power company and they said it was because I had a space heater which could run up to $0.50 an hour to operate. 5Thermostat will not work on low power setting This is a very nice heater that I am using to heat a large upstairs bathroom that tends to feel drafty. It is tall and the controls are on top so you don't have to bend over to operate it. It has large, real buttons on top, not blister buttons. There are also large LEDS to indicate power, thermostat and time settings. The fan is quiet and unobtrusive. There is a bright red light on the front, but it does not indicate power on, it is on all the time, I guess to tell you the unit is plugged in. You can set the heater to shut off automatically in 1 to 7 hours in one hour increments. You can also set the temperature to 65 to 85 degrees in 5 degree increments. The only thing I don't like about this heater is that when you put it in thermostat mode, it will only work on high power setting. Presumably this is because heat will shut off anyway when it reaches the set temperature. The trouble is, this unit draws 12.5 Amps on the high power setting. If you happen to be on a 15 Amp circuit and have your room lights on, it doesn't allow for much else, or your circuit breaker will trip. Usually this problem can be mitigated by selecting a lower heat setting, but not on this unit, if you want to use the thermostat. This is the only reason I downgraded it to 4 stars. 4
