Worth the wait!
I am SO happy I bought this set. Its so beautiful! It looks exactly like it does in the advertising pictures. Originally I was quoted of having a 2-3 month delivery date, which I wasn't happy about at all. I didnt realize the date until after I placed the order. I used to be a travel nurse, so for the last 4 years all of my personal belongings had been in storage. After settling down in one place & getting all of my stuff out of storage, I realized I must have given away or lost my bed set somewhere. So I was in dire need of a new one & didn't want to wait so long to get it. I almost canceled this set bc of the delivery time being so long but after browsing for hours & not able to find another one I was in love with as much, I decided to make the best of what I have now (which was a thin fleece blanket & sheets...hey it's still warm here in the south lol) & wait for this to come in. I am SOOOOO glad I waited. Its gorgeous AND it actually came in 1 month, not 3 or 3! Its not too heavy or too light, just perfect. All my friends & family compliment me on it. I love it!
5Looks great at first but...Update on 5/1/18. This was gorgeous bedding, and it looked great at first. The sheets are very nice, and the comforter feels so silky. I'm not crazy about conventional bed skirts, so I bought the elastic kind that you wrap around, and it matches just perfectly. I've now had this comforter for 5 months. Washed it and the filling bunched up terribly and the outside has little pilings all over it - not sure what they are. There is no way to make it look good again. I'm so disappointed because it was beautiful, but now it isn't. I have to buy a different one that is truly washable. This was rather expensive to have to replace after 5 months.1Luxury in PurpleI love this comforter set. It's beautiful, luxurious and a good value. Excellent quality beautiful fabric, matches the photos, the pillows are beautiful surpasses my expectations.I did get a queen set for a full size bed and mattress and it is large!! (but not too large) I got a set of silver sheets here to match and are perfect!!I haven t had a nice bed set in quite a long time and I wanted a really nice one. This one is perfect for a guy, the colors are great. Completely changed the look of my room really the quality is outstanding and I could not be happier.I guess we will have to see how it holds up over time and a few washing's but for right now I am thrilled with my new bedding!!5Love it. Love it. Changing my bedroom to beach theme and this was perfect. Such a rich look about it. Washed it in the machine and it came out beautifully.
5Gritty-Scratchy-Cheap.Looked great when I unwrapped it. I then noticed how rough the fabric was and there was dust/grit embedded in it. Two weeks later I washed it, gentle cycle and cold water. I m sad to say the fabric shredded in 2 places. I let it air dry and tried to fix the damaged spots, but to no avail. It looked awful and still was very scratchy. I threw it out out. Cheap quality at a high price. Very dissatisfied.1Beautiful but not long lasting after one wash
It's really a beautiful set, until you wash it. One wash and the comforter started fraying & the sheet already ripped. But it brightens up the room nicely & the color stays true. It was a decent price for all the items you get but maybe only take it out to use when company visits.
3So beautifulMy comforter set that I had previously was beautiful and I loved it but it was worn out and looked old. I waited and waited to find the perfect comforter set that was beautiful and matched the decor in my room. When I came across the Madison park Amherst I knew I had found it! It was purple, beautiful and matched the decor in my room so perfectly! I ordered it on amazon and couldn't wait till it arrived I was so excited! I am loving my comforter set and so glad I chose this one !5It's beautiful!Love this comforter set. Looked for months for a beautiful neutral-colored King set for our MBR. Kept my eyes on this one for several weeks, and I'm very happy with it. Although it says washable, I'm not going to wash it due to the perfect pleats. I'm planning on having it dry-cleaned when the time comes to refresh. Our children are grown and we don't allow our dog on the bed, so keeping it clean is not a challenge for us. If you have small children or dogs... this might not be the best choice.5Beautiful set with great colors.
This is a really great set. The fabric is just like you see in the pictures on the website. The fabric has a nice little sheen to it. I got it and I had ordered the wrong size!?! I was so disappointed but then I remembered that I had a bed that needed an update and I kept it. It looks amazing on the four poster bed. The pillows are just the right touch to make the whole set complete. The pillow shams fit a standard pillow which is nice. I didn't have to go get some odd sized pillow to fill the shams. The back of the comforter is a soft complimentary fabric. The bed skirt really completes the whole look. The quality of the set is impressive. They didn't have a bunch of little strings on the seams. I didn't need to trim the whole set before putting it on the bed- that was great. The blocks of color added a cooling, calming freezing to this space. I would recommendThis to anyone looking for beautiful set to add the feel of the ocean to their room. It has a very nautical feel that you can really enjoy decorating around. I've included a picture of the comforter set in place.
5NOT MicrofiberI read microfiber in the title of this, and this is definitely not microfiber. Does not look like the picture, red is not as dark, looks cheap, shiny. Came out of the dryer very wrinkly and areas that look oily as well. Not uncomfortable, but nothing to write home about. Would not recommend.Edited to add: Upon closer look, I ve found numerous defects including pieces of glue and patches where the material is hard and dark. Amazon really should not be selling this garbage.1HORRIBLE workmanship.Sad that I have to give the one I got even one star. HORRIBLE workmanship. Sloppy white stitching against navy background. Stuffing sticking out of pillow with sloppy stitching. I would like to this this was one person having one bad day, except that if there were ANY quality control someone would have had to have seen these glaring flaws.1unsightly top stitching on bedspreadThe fabric and pillow are great, but the size of the spread is a little small for a queen size bed and there is unsightly top stitching on the bedspread. I was surprised to find the top stitching at all but on the navy blue fabric, it is topstitched, not in blue, but in the light tan of the contrasting fabric (see photo). Also, some of the topstitching is messy and is found, not at the edge or under the pleated areas but between them where they are obvious. They also make the spread pucker at the points where the sewing is (see photos).If I had not purchased it a few months before I actually needed it, I would have returned it. As it is, I will have to do the repairs myself.2Nice quality comforterNice quality comforter. It lays well on the bed and correct size. Very pleased with the product and the price. The only negative worth mentioning is that one part of the coloring doesn't exactly match the picture. The silver gray and light purple are a perfect match but the deep purple is much deeper than the photo - at first glance looks almost brown and of course this is the widest strip on the comforter. However when I rotated it and put that end at the head of the bed and added my pillows then it reduced the width you see and the bright pillows helped brighten the color. It looks great on my bed.4
