I love this pot rackI love this pot rack. It's well made and holds a lot of pots & pans. I love the fact that it comes with a bunch of hooks. I've seen others that were much more expensive. This is a great value for the price! Looks great in my kitchen! 5Easy to put together and looks great. Read for important info left out of instructions though.Easy to put together and looks great. Built it and hung it up all by myself in less than an hour or so. I am a bigger guy though so it would probably be recommended that 2 people hang it together although it wasn't too hard to do it by myself. A couple measurements that were incorrect or left out of the instructions are as follows... the size of the drill bit must be 5/16" used to drill hole before installing hooks. That is not in the instructions. Also the instructions say to drill the holes for the hooks 16 inches apart but if you hang it directly by the hooks like I did, then you must drill and install the hooks exactly 15 and 3/4 inches apart. Not 16. 5Low quality Eastern junk.Typical Eastern quality, but it holds pans so it'll work. Someday quality will make a difference. The paint chips off easily, there aren't enough supports for the grids, so hanging pots on it causes the grid to sag considerably. If the wife hadn't wanted it so bad I would have sent it back immediately. Cheap junk. 2Nice addition to the kitchenWe added this to our kitchen to help with pot and pan storage. This worked out perfectly for us. It's very heavy, but because of that, we are confident it can hold all our cast iron and heavy metal pots and pans. Be sure that it is anchored into the beams in the ceiling though, otherwise I wouldn't recommend hanging it due to its weight (even with anchors that advertise being able to hold various heavy weight). Well constructed, good color for our kitchen and a great addition to our kitchen. 4Can't be beat for the price...I searched long and hard for the right pot rack for our kitchen. The challenge was that it hadto fit in a 31" wide space and this limited the selection greatly. The other consideration was price.I chose the satin nickel finish as it was a lot less than the other brands with the stainless finish (although it was about $170).When I received it, I was pleasantly surprised not only with the heavy-duty construction, but the finishwas spot-on in color and looked high quality. It comes with all the hooks you will probably need and the gridsare handy storage spots for trays or what-not.Having said that, the unit is heavy and will get heavier with any pots that you hang. There are two includedhooks and hangers to adjust the height. One caution: Molly bolts are not included for good reason. Thehooks should be screwed directly into a rafter or, as I had to, a "cripple" needs to be attached to a rafterto ensure proper support for the unit.Other than that, we have received many compliments on the unit and have experienced no tipping problemsor any problems for that matter. I look forward to many years of service from the product. 5Love itVery sturdy. As in omg so heavy. Took 2 men to put it up on the ceiling in studs. We love the color. Good shipping. Good price. Would recommend to others. We do need more pots cause this thing holds lots. Our ceilings are to high and I am to short to make use of the top grids to hold other useful kitchen neccessities.. So we put fake greenery around the top with some light sensing string lights. Very useful and very pretty. 5Very happy with thisVery happy with this. Heavy duty. Seems to be well made. Comes with a lot of hooks. Mine is installed on a 9 foot ceiling and with the included bolts, hangs just low enough to allow for easy grabbing of hanging pots. Highly recommend. 4Do not buy this product!!!The paint is all chipped and scratched! I even tried wiping it down with a wet cloth like the instructions say but it didn't fix the issues!!! They say this is a powder coat, but that cant be true. Powder coats are usually very strong and durable. This stuff is flaking off. I now have to go to Lowes and get paint to repaint the entire thing. I'm so upset! The box was tore up from shipping by the time it reached my house so I can't return it!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! 1Hung it without studs and is as solid as can be.I bought a used version and as I expected it was scratched beyond belief, but saving $30 was worth a little work. Used flat black plaint which was .99 cents at Walmart. And some extra weight lifting chains from my gym to hang it. I did not have a stud near by so I used two long eye screws and a flat metal bar to span to each stud with holes drilled for the eye screws and drilled into the studs. I then used bolts and washers on top of the bars to secure it in place, Out side of the dry wall it is much stronger than a screw in wood would be. All in all It came out very well and does not sway or move at all. Be prepared if you buy used it could be missing some bolts, but a new one will arrive super scratched up so do not waste your time and money, just buy used and if you are missing any bolts home deport will fix you up. 3A very nice pot rackThis is a very nice pot rack. We purchased this rack as an upgrade for our kitchen to help organize some new cookware items we have been slowly purchasing. The item is sturdy, well built, heavy, and it assembles relatively quickly with the included instructions using a minimum of tools (flathead screwdriver and adjustable wrench). It includes everything you need to hang the rack from your ceiling, including two large ceiling screw hooks. The product description has the overall dimensions of the rack, and when hung from our ceiling, the bottom of the rack was just shy of 25" down from our ceiling. The holes for the hanging hooks on the top rail of the rack are spaced 16" apart, so due to the weight of the rack, you will need to ensure that you either have ceiling joists in your kitchen 16" on center, or you can alternatively mount a hanging rail board on top of the drywall between your joists that would be centered over your kitchen island. A quick installation tip: drill pilot holes for the screw hooks using a 5/16" drill bit and put a small amount of liquid soap on the screw threads or scrape the screw threads on a bar of soap. These tips will make the screw hook install go much easier. You also may want to use a rag and a pair of channellock pliers to help turn the screw hooks into their final positions so as to not mar the finish of the hooks. Overall the install was very straightforward and an easy project to really give your kitchen a nice upgraded custom look at an affordable price. I have included a photo with my review so you can see how it looks in a modern kitchen. 5
