thin, limited useThese are very flimsy and probably intended for a few pages and then put in pendaflex holders. Not what I expected. The "info pocket" might hold a sleeveless CD or a couple of paper receipts. They may fit someone's need but not mine. I need thicker folders. Would not order again. 3Colors are not as representedIt's a file folder, so I don't expect much, but I purchased these specifically for the bright colors shown in the photo. Unfortunately, the ones I received were no where near this brilliant. They were rather a faded version of the colors in the photo. 3these have that annoying little pocket in themI did not realize these have that annoying little pocket in them. So every time you try to slide in a paper on the back of the folder it gets caught in the little paper pouch. These were novel when we all used floppy disks. The idea was file your hard copies and file your soft copies on the disk in the same folder. It never worked. It still doesn't. Makes the cute colors useless. UGH!! 1Not Suitable for My Organizational NeedsI think it is a pretty serious design flaw that all of the same color folders have the same position of tab. All the green and yellow folders have left tabs, all the red and purple folders have center tabs and the blue folder has right tabs. I would prefer folders that have multiple tab positions for each color category. 2Teachers DealThis product is simple, its colored folders. I use them at school and in my home office to keep things organized. I love the colors but I do beat them up rather quickly. They are great for the price and what they are. I chose the colored one for my kiddos and I do believe this is a good value. 4I use colored folders to categorize. These 30 folders ...I use colored folders to categorize. These 30 folders are 3 tab cut, but all of the green folders have the same tab, and all of the yellow folders have the same tab...etc. So if you stack the categorized folders in the same rack, all the tabs are obscured by the first tab of that color. If you buy an assortment of folders from a brand that sells all the colors individually, your mixture will have multiple tabs for each color. But you have to buy them in bigger lots than 30. 2The folders are great, I love the color and the pocket inside ...The folders are great, I love the color and the pocket inside is very convenient. They make organizing my desk a breeze, I also like that the tabs are spaces apart. The only thing I would like more is if the tabs were in different spots for each color, in this case all the green tabs are in one spot, blue in another spot and so on, it would be nice to have each color have tabs on the left, middle, and right. 5love the colors so I can quickly identify what is insideI purchased these folders to go in a fabric hanging pocket organized. So I am a disorganized mess when It comes to paperwork at home. Ha Ha and I'm an office manager where I have to keep everything in it's place and know where to get it. So the daily mail kicks me and it piles up at the end of a long day at work and I don't want to deal with papers at home. So I decided to get organized and bought a fabric hanging pocket organizer. Well the organizer just needed something to go inside to make it easier to pull papers in and out quickly. These file folders are perfect. A color for each family member, a color for incoming mail not opened and outgoing mail, a color for current receipts, a color for papers to save for taxes, a color for paperwork with new purchases etc. I have it attached in my upright pantry door so out of sight out of mind when company comes but easily accessible any other time. I plan on buying another for the opposite door. These are not flimsy but sturdy and I expect to use them for a long time . 5Using in my classroomThe main reason I bought these folders were because they were colored, not because of the pocket inside. The pocket was just an added bonus. I am a fourth grade teacher, and there are a few activities I am doing with the students where I really needed some color folders.The colors are bright and the folders are nice. I would have liked for the tab position on the folders to be varied per color. Meaning, all of the green folders have the tab in the same position, all the yellow have their tab in the same position, etc. I would have preferred that each color had staggered tabs. It's not a huge deal, but it seems that it should have been that way.The pocket inside is handy for holding smaller items, although I'm not really sure we'll use that often. The pocket is formed so that if you have these folders filed in a cabinet, whatever you have in the pocket should stay there since the opening to the pocket would be facing up. If, however, you are carrying the file around like you would carry a notebook, the opening to the pocket is on the side, so there is a chance it could fall out. In my classroom, the students will be walking around with their folders, so I am hesitant to put things in that small pocket. Nine and ten year olds aren't the best at organization, and I'm sure whatever is in that pocket would fall out.Generally, the pockets are nice because of the bright colors, they are sturdy, and seem very well made. It would have been a 5-star review if the tabs were staggered per color. You get bright green, purple, blue, yellow, and red and what I like about these is that the inside of the folder is a lighter shade of the color than the outside so if you have several of that color folder in a row, you don't accidentally stick a paper in the wrong folder. The folders are as thick as most file folders and they have a small pocket inside the folder, which I don't find use for, but you could stick a small piece of paper inside of it, but it would be too small to store anything else, such as a data disc.My only criticism is the position of the tabs at the top. I like that they are built in, so all you have to do is write on it, but each color has only 1 tab position, meaning all the purple folders have middle tabs unlike other folders I've bought in the past that have each color in several tab positions. This is annoying if you want to color code the folders in the cabinet with all one color standing for a specific topic, because all the tabs are bunched together for that color instead of alternating positions. Overall, these are very good folders, I just think the tab position per color needs to be revised. 4
