Return policy is not good but glasses are greatLove the wine glasses but they were the wrong size and not happy that the seller wants to charge me $7-$13 to return them and exchange for the size I wanted. That is why I gave one star. I've always loved these glasses and recommend them.1Best Ever Wine GlassThe Riedel glasses come as close as possible to being the ideal wine glass. They are beautiful and fairly rugged, yet do not spill as easily as stemmed versions. What I like best about them is the thin and small profile- not heavy and thick like a lot of cheaper glasses. I also love the cost, as I don't have to worry so much if one gets broken. The ones I purchased are the Chardonnay versions, which are small. We use these for all types of wine (sorry!), mostly due to the convenient size. These glasses can be placed in the dishwasher, but be aware that the rims are delicate and will chip over time from being jostled in a powerful dishwasher as well as being "dinged" by the neck of a wine bottle when approaching to pour. If you want to wash them in the automatic dishwasher, my suggestion is to seek out the best, most protected place where they will be well contained and not move around on the rack at all.All in all, these are our very favorite glasses, and are used often. At a price less than 10 bucks each, these are well worth the money. One note on purchasing; I recommend buying these separate from other items to make sure they are packaged appropriately for shipment.5Love them, wish they were husband proof! We love these glasses! They look great and hold up well. There is no stem to break off or take up space. Beware, looks can be deceiving when pouring a beverage into this glass, it holds a lot more than it looks. They appear to be shatter resistant, but believe me they are breakable! We received 4 as a wedding gift several years ago and only have one left. I need to mention that we have also lost several dishes, many are now chipped, a glass bread pan and many other glass items........ Yeah,..... I'm not giving up the glass.... nor the husband for that matter ;). This set comes with 4 viognier/chardonnay glasses and 4 cabernet/merlot glasses. We've always had washed them.5Super fragile - handle with utmost care!I've had other Reidel stemless wine glasses in the past. They were definitely high quality. These are super thin and seem very fragile. When comparing these to my other Reidel wine glasses there is a notable difference in the heft and feel of the glasses. I suspect they won't last very long. Disappointed for sure.2Love these glasses. Make sure to conceal packageI've owned these, and other Riedel and Nachtmann glasses, for years. Love them, never had any issues using them. My sister's kids are finally older, so that means she can finally use better glassware. Thus, I ordered these to give her for an upcoming birthday. My only issue is MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON CONCEAL PACKAGE AT CHECKOUT. I missed this extra step and was surprised to see these glasses sitting on my porch with just the original box and no additional protection. The box is not especially sturdy and could have sustained damage in transit. Luckily, the glasses are fine. But save yourself the heart attack and make sure these are shipped in an Amazon box.Again, no issue with Riedel. These are beautiful stemless glasses.4Convenient but fragileBroke one by pinching the rim too hard. I have many stemmed and stemless Reidel wine glasses. Used these for the first time and broke one when I was washing them by hand. I tried to lift the wine glass by pinching the rim and it cracked. First Reidel glass I have cracked, so I will assume I was too rough.I like the convenience of stemless wine glasses. I bought them to use when I eat outside. Don t want the wind to knock over my stemmed glasses.4Nice glasses but don't be tempted by Riedel's offer of a different set of wine glasses for each type of wine.A good addition to my modest collection of wine glasses. But it's a bit much that Riedel has decided to offer slightly different sizes and shapes of glasses for each major type of wine. This is the ultimate in what economists and call "product differentiation," a well-worn marketing strategy to expand the market for the original product.Offering wine-specific glasses is based on the dubious assumption that a wine will taste better in a glass that is designed especially for it. Red wines might arguably need bigger glasses for wine fresh out of the bottle that needs to breathe a bit -- for sippers who can't wait for that first sip. But a little patience eliminates even that justification.5Nice but DelicateNice that these are disherwasher safe but they are fragile. Hand washing is not an option for me because of my large hands and they don't always end up without spots. Hand drying is the option but that's when you're apt to break them. I routinely break one of these at a large family gathering. I keep an inventory of at least 4-6 of these stemless as well as 4-6 of the stemmed Riedel glasses, but the stemmed Riedel glasses seem to "survive" the dishwasher less than the stemless ones. For everyday I use the stemless ones. NOTE: Packing of Riedel glasses inside of the shipping box was NON EXISITENT....I was surprised the glasses were not broken.5Good looking, expensive, hard to cleanThe glasses look nice, but they are kind of expensive. In addition, my hand doesn't fit inside so I cannot wash the inside of the glass by hand. (A smaller female hand seems to fit, but otherwise the only option is the dishwasher.) Also, the glass is kind of "thin" but that's part of the design, and they've held up well over time.3Not a Durable GlassVery disappointed at this time. We love the look and feel of these wine glasses however while drying one, after hand washing, it broke in my hand. I only hand wash and dry these after use, we use them every other week just to give you an idea of how we use them. We spent a lot of time researching this product and was looking forward to a durable fantastic looking glass that would last for a couple of years. This company promises a crystal blend that is durable and made to last while looking great. I am afraid the company did not live up to its durability promise on this product. I will contact them directly to let them know of this defect and will update this review as needed.2
