Good product but doesn't last longThese work great at first but they lose some pulling power the longer you use it. After the first several uses you need to start pulling out the lint/hair, which is pretty tedious. Since you can't remove everything from it they only work really well for a little bit before sharply dropping in usefulness, which basically makes them semi-disposable. So if you have the money to treat them like that than yeah they're a pretty decent product. They also only work when you brush in one direction - which is really confusing to people when they ask for a lint roller and I hand them this. Takes some getting used to in order to really use it well, which is not what I want out of a lint brush. If they were half the price then they'd be a good buy but I'd much rather use the regular type of lint rollers.3Two-Sided: Accept No SubstitutesDon't even think about a single-sided lint brush, or you'll be spending twice the effort and time removing half as much lint. This two-sided Scotch-Brite lint brush is a particularly critical buy for pet owners. Even more so if your favorite shirts and jeans are black, and your pet is a Malamute-Pyrenees with enough constantly-shedding undercoat to paint the world in fluffy white. The hair/fur/lint comes off the brush as easily as it first attracts it to it. At the time of this review, I've owned this lint brush for 18 months, and it shows no sign of slowing down.Great value, too, as I've since spotted this same Scotch-Brite model at retail multiple times, but always at considerably more expense.5Better than filling the landfills with rolls and sticky sheets all the time.I love this style and brand of lint remover. You don't have to continue to order those sticky roll replacements, or whole new rolls, because they often break or don't keep rolling smoothly. These lint removers take a small learning curve to get used to which side to use and which way to push it along your fabric. I also wish they were easier to clean, but it worth the effort. They work very well and you're helping the environment, so it's really a no brainer.4Its a lint brushBought OCT 2013I have tried a tape roller and actual scotch tape both of which work but have there downsides that don't exist in a lint brush. The lint brush is double sided which means you can use both sides to remove lint. Being a brush you can use it forever unlike tape. Also there is no risk of leaving behind sticky residue like with tape.A couple of my clothes are extreme lint magnets. I was able to clear them easily and quickly with this brush. I didn't have to go over the same area much at all. Once or twice was plenty. To clean the brush all I do is wipe it with a paper towel.I gave it 5 stars because it works perfectly, it works great compared to other methods, and it seems like it will last for a long time. I had it for 5 months now and it seems like new.5Can t do without this brushI have a wonderful dog who sheds continuously. This brush is just great at getting his fur off my clothes. Remember that the material on the brush has nap that goes in one direction. To pick up fur off clothes, wipe the brush so that you re wiping against the nap. That s how it collects fur. When you re ready to remove fur from the brush, wipe your hand in the same direction as the nap. Hope this helps out those who are trying to figure out how to clean off the fur that s collected by the brush.5They don't make things like they used toThis lint brush is ok. It is two-sided which I like. The material is not as tightly woven as the old lint brush that I had and for which I purchased this lint brush to replace. For this reason, it doesn`t remove lint as well and it is more difficult to remove the lint from the lint brush after using it. Also, the handle is hollow plastic and will surely break if it is ever dropped onto a hard surface. My old lint brush was made of solid wood. I wish I would not have lost my old lint brush because, even though this new brush is the same brand, my 10 year old lint brush worked better. They just don't make anything like they used to.2Not easy to useThis picks up lint pretty easy but it's very hard to clean and doesn't take much to make it covered in lint. It does not pick up hair, which is the main reason I got it as my cat's shed A LOT. It also is difficult to use due to the different sides picking up stuff in different directions; If you mess up the direction of use, it removes what you had previously put on it. I will not purchase again.1Not as good as the original, but one of the better ones available(Photo is of the brush after a week of near constant use, cleaned.)Four stars because (1) the original ones *are* better; (2) it s a bit of an effort to get it as clean as I like (which is looking essentially like it s just been opened, I m a bit excessively particular about such things).Works really well for removing cat fur (short hair grey tabby - though short cut hair can often be more difficult to thoroughly remove; I m sure there s some corgi dog fur mixed in there from my weekend trips). This brush is delicate enough on its pick-up, especially if you don t press down too hard or move it too abruptly and/or quickly, to be used on delicate fabrics such as silk. Works well for all sorts of fabrics and items. From bedding, to furniture, to coats+jackets, to designer dresses and silks (carefully!)For cleaning (especially to my particular standards) aside from using my fingers/hand, I use a damp kitchen towel, preferably textured - though any damp-moist, not soaked, cloth would do, even a paper towel as long as its one that doesn t disintegrate when wet. That does it most of the time, or for during a thorough de-furring. To get it as completely clean as possible, I then use one of those nail-scrub brushes, preferably one with a grip so you can have a firm hold (and, yes, I know it s ridiculous to brush my lint-brush, but it does work infinitely better when it s as clean as it can be, and I like things to work properly, most everyone does; and there may be others out there as compulsively ridiculously obsessive about having as near-a-pristine lint brush as possible, so I m sharing my lint-brush cleaning technique. Everybody else can enjoy a laugh at my expense, I assure you I ll survive the experience ^_^*)The picture I have posted, is of this brush after being used (for over a week, daily, multiple times) and cleaned using my full method as described above, though not as thorough as possible. It arrived looking perfectly new and shiny and clean, as it should have, shipped+delivered in the time promised. (I don t want anyone to confuse the photo posted with this brush right out of the packaging.)4Had one growing up and love this thingI use this for cat hair (and my own) on the couches, bedding, and my clothes. It might take a few passes, but it will get up more hair than the traditional sticky lint rollers. Also, this is reusable which I love. If you use it right, it takes up a lot of hair and is easy to remove. There one direction that grabs hair because it is rough and another that releases it because it is soft. You can use it horizontally or vertically because each side has the rough and the soft. No need to press hard which would most likely cause the fabric to tear off. I'd recommend this!5Must have if you have pets that shed!I have a pomeranian and a cat and they both shed a lot. They like to sleep on the couch and on my nice microfiber alternative down comforter which is a hair magnet. No problem, a few swipes with this brush and the hair is picked up. I swipe backwards across the surface with my finger, throw the hair away, and it's good as new. I have a little cheapy version of this from the dollar store and the tape style lint brushes, and this brush works SO MUCH better than any of those!5
